purestofpain
Hi all, it just dawned on me today that it's been a month of proper NC and I've pretty much gotten over the initial immensely painful period. I've even reached the stage of deleting all chat histories, emails and his contact without any slightest sadness or regret or hesitance. Gone are the days when I'd really crave contacting him. Most importantly, I'm finally beginning to forgive myself for the mistake I made in getting involved with someone I shouldn't have. I used to regret my actions tremendously, and while I still do beat myself over it sometimes, I'm learning to see it in another perspective. It's but another experience in my life for me to learn from and become better. All that's happened has showed me that I deserve a whole lot better than a cheating married man who can never ever give me what I'm after. For those who are still coping with NC, all the best love and I'm positive we'll all be stronger and better with time!

jenkins95
Fantastic news pop. Well done. Know that your strength and positivity will be a beacon of hope for others still in affairs needing that little boost of strength to make the leap and get out. I'm full of respect for you! Can I just ask.... How long was the A? Are you married too? Kids involved? Was there any future faking? D-days? Etc. Perhaps the answers are in your other posts? Sorry for the questions, but it's always nice to know the context when considering each case.
whatever29
Way to go Purestofpain!!! I'm at week 3 months of NC and feel mostly indifferent. He isn't worthy of any thought. You deserve a much better man and will find him. It's all a learning experience. I believe there are no mistakes in this life. All are for our learning and soul's growth. Be good to yourself - it does get easier with time. Edited October 11, 2016 by whatever29
