Such people are scared to be alone. The ' security ' that comes with marriage is what they want. She is on her way to second divorce. That's how people usually end up having 3 to 5 divorces in few years.

Do any of you ladies actually go ahead and have a relationship with a man you have friendzoned?

There was a girl I worked with that I really became an emotional tampon for.

Listened to her problems for hours and let her cry on my shoulder.

Amazingly enough after she broke with the bad boy she dated me.

It lasted two years but I was always haunted that she never was on fire for me with passion and we still did a lot more talking than loving.

I just never felt like I was her priority.

It's very rare IME, bc as you found out, it's hard to be passionate about friends.

I guess you should count yourself lucky you were one of the few who were able to break thru. Next time try it w someone who's passionate about you. ;)

You were just the rebound, someone she clung on to when heartbroken, once she healed, she woke up again and she realised her mistake.

There was no real passion for you, as you didn't really float her boat but at the time she needed you.

Best to avoid people who are "heartbroken" or are having a bad time in relationships, yes they may be easier to get when they are low and vulnerable, but it rarely lasts long term.

However if you view any relationship as getting "sex in the friendzone", it is hardly any wonder she never got that attached to you.

I think if in your mind deep down you think the guy was with you for sex, then ultimately that will be what bothers you. In the end, he is with someone else, and you will having feelings of not being good enough and why you were not. If it was sex he is after, then chances are even his new woman will not be good enough for long. Not the kinda guy you want and you are lucky to have lost him
