GirlyGirly
Anyone tried it or recommend it ?
truthtripper
I haven't tried it. I usually put a few drops of garlic oil in my ears before bedtime, or mullein oil. iherb.com sells a combination of both. Even a few drops of olive oil is effective at dissolving ear wax. These remedies will take several days to work, but it's more cost effective than paying a health professional to do ear candling for you, if you don't have someone to do it for you at home. ChatroomHero
My ex used to do it, it was OK. Not hard to do, inexpensive too. You can get the candles from massage places sometimes for like $4 each and get someone to hold it for you. Pretty easy, felt like my hearing was more clear for a little bit at least. Tayla
Tried it as it was a hype years back. Truth tripper is correct. Use the oils and let the ear drain thru the procedure stated. My sinus's and head aches lessened when my ears were cleansed. Did hydrogen peroxide with garlic oil...that was funky to hear the fizzle and pop! I'll leave out the description of the results that the cotton ball absorbed ...
Els
It's pretty dangerous and frankly has no proven benefits. Don't do it. If your ear needs clearing, go to a GP to get it flushed out.
