notsointerested Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Is this an acceptable age gap for a relationship? I had met this girl off Tinder and she really likes me, but she is 18 and I am 22. It's awkward because she's more experienced in relationships than me, she's had one long term with her ex and I've never had a relationship before so I don't want her expectations to be too much of me. We are going to meet up soon, but I don't know if I should pursue this. It must be noted that this is the first time a girl has ever shown interest in me. I don't know if I will get another opportunity to just pass her up and find someone my age, there might not be another chance. I don't know how I feel about this age gap to be honest but I like her and we really get along. Any advice guys, please? 1

Push all that aside and just enjoy the experience.....baby steps. Age gap? don't sweat it. I dated guys that were 4 years older than me when I was in my teens. Everyone has a different level of maturity and expectations. It's all about being on the same page, not the same age. 2
