xpaperxcutx
Hi, LS veteran returning from a long hiatus. This may not be the right section but I recently found myself attracted to a new coworker of mine. I started a new job working for an international company as a contracted analyst after I graduated from College. The business division I am in is really small with a total of 5 people. There is only one guy on the team- he is about early to mid-30's; Caucasian, 5'8ish, brunette. I usually don't develop crushes (I am well aware of corporate company policies) but I find myself attracted to him. He is obviously off-limits- I found out today he has a girlfriend- but I was disappointed. Has anybody been in a situation like this? What did you do?

spideywoman
Yep, I have been there. It's a crush. You'll get over it, it'll dissipate. Psych yourself out of it. Remind yourself that a) he's unavailable and b) company policy. I'd venture the potential to lose what sounds like a good job is more important than some colleague, no matter how great he is. right now, he's just a stranger you work with.
