Stained glass heart
Anyone suffer from pyschical pain after affair the ended? Due to my stupid decision to participate in the affair and how rough the sex was, I now suffer from arthritis in my back on a daily basis. If I could go back in time, I never would have agreeed to subject myself as an object to satisfy his sexual gratification. Live and learn.
RecentChange
Wow! The sex caused you to develop arthritis!? I like it rough, but can't say it's any harder on my back then my horse back riding habit. I am more likely to get sore abs / thighs and some bruises from a god romp. Can't say it has ever affected my back.
Author Stained glass heart
It started from working at my job and moving heavy things but yes the sex only made it worse. I was lying bareback on a table which isn't the smartest thing to do but yes. My doctor who diagnosed me at time, put it simply, "It's like when an athlete does too much repetitive exercise." Then I realized what she meant.
RecentChange
I would say it's much more likely the moving heavy stuff artwork is the main culprit when it comes to developing arthritis. I could be wrong, but I think that is what she meant when she compared to an athlete - who over taxes their body repeatedly which results in the wear and tear that can lead to arthritis. I have never heard of sex causing it. I have a bum knee, and sure lots od kneeling in sex can aggravate it, but it didn't cause it - running and my other activities did.
Methodical
Wow, I'd think physical pain would occur at the time of the act, maybe even residual pain a day or two afterward, the same way a hard workout at the gym would cause. How long has the affair been over? How long after it ended before you experienced physical pain/arthritis?
Author Stained glass heart
The last time we had psychical contact was two years ago but the affair was on and off for 10. The majority of the sex was in 09-to November of 2010. I didn't start feeling the pain until July of 2010. That's when I was lying bareback on a table and due to the position, the very next day I was in excruciating pain. The pillow that was supporting my back fell off the table which left my spine exposed to the wood and vulnerable to injury. I was diagnosed with arthritis that same year but it wasn't as bad. Now since I'm doing the same type of retail as I did before, it's constantly aggregating it. When I told my ex lover, he just chuckled. I could've slapped that mofo. I may have agreed to be his sexual toy at that time but I didn't sign up for permant injury.
eye of the storm
Stainedglass, there are a couple of positions that aggravate my lower back injury so I try to avoid them. And occasionally my MM would get me into one of them. But he didn't cause my bad back. When we break up with someone (A or normal relationship) we often demonize them. It can help us be glad the relationship is over. Your doctor stated repetitive motions. The way you tell the sex on the table story it sounds like a one off. I hope your back feels better. I went to see a physical therapist and got exercises that strengthen and helps with the pain. I hope you feel better.
