Otter2569 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I'm seeing a great woman who has a 12 y/o daughter. The girl has been very loving and affectionate towards me. We hug, tuck her into bed, snuggle on the couch and watch tv, she make me coffee but all of a sudden... She has a bad attitude towards me and has become bossy and doing little things deliberately, I feel, to annoy me. I am trying to ignore it and not make any waves but its wearing thin. I'm pulling back from engaging with the daughter until the attitude changes. I want to say something to my GF but I don't want to cause any problems. Any ideas to navigate this minefield?
Author Otter2569 Posted December 24, 2016 Author Posted December 24, 2016 Things seemed to be back to normal on my last visit. This morning she came into our room (knocked first - thankfully) and we all cuddled in bed and watched Xmas movies
MJJean Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Teenage girls are mercurial creatures. It's normal. She'll grow out of her moodiness with time and patience.
