In grade 11 you are probably close to being done growing, and you are still fairly short. It doesn't seem all that shocking really. Link to post Share on other sites
SoleMate Posted February 13, 2017 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Perhaps you have better nutrition than your parents or have had overall better health. You're still quite close to your parents' height - well within the normal range of variation - so I see nothing remarkable here. Height results from both nature (genetics), and nurture and they both have variability. Most girls (IME) reach adult height around age 12. For you it looks like it's coming later. Perhaps you reached puberty later than what I would consider typical (age 11-12). Now if you were 6 feet or more, that would be quite unusual. Link to post Share on other sites
