Naked Sunbathing when I was suppose to be there???

I have had the strangest thing happen and have no idea how to handle it. So far I have just stayed quiet not even telling my wife of 32 years. Here is the story. Please share your thoughts.

 

We are good friends with our across the street neighbor. We will usually get together with them at least once per month to play cards or cook out. I have a feeling thats about to change. For this story we will call my neighbors John and Jane. They are a great looking couple who both work out to keep their bodies in tip top shape. Behind my wife Jane is as good looking as any other woman I personally know and my wife has hinted that John isn't bad himself. With that said let me be sure to say to my knowledge there has never been anything questionable went on between any of us and we are all happily married. I know we are. I love my wife more today and think she is sexier than she was 32 years ago. If you might have read my first post here you will see how hot I think she is. As I said there she is often thought to be 20 years younger than she is and at 52 still turns the heads of the young guys. She is truly my love.

 

Last week John ask me to drop by their house that afternoon and look at their dishwasher which was said not to be filling with water. I told him I would be glad to and would be there between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. I ask if there would be an unlocked door and he told me Jane would be home but she would probably be working on the pool or hot tub since we have been getting unusually warm weather and if nobody answered the door to let myself in with the hidden key. I ask him to make sure Jane knew I was stopping by and he said they had already talked about it but he would remind her.

 

I arrived about 2:30 and as he said nobody answered the door so I let myself in just as he instructed. Once in the house I went straight to the kitchen which happens to look out over the pool area. I walked up to the dishwasher and straight in front of me out at the pool was Jane sunbathing naked. I have to admit I did look and began to get a little excited before my common sense took over to remind me I have been married to a beautiful woman that could offer me anything I could get there.

I didn't take another look at the dishwasher and exited out the front door and walked across the road home. As I sit thinking many things went through my head. Was this a set up by John just to see what would happen? Was John in to this wife sharing thing that some people are doing now? Was John in the blind about it and Jane wanted to be seen for the excitement? Was it simply an accident and John forgot to tell Jane I would be stopping by?

 

After all those thoughts I then began to wonder how to handle this. Do I continue to stay quiet as if it never happen? Do I mention it to John and even more importantly do I mention it to my wife? It could have been a simple mistake but it could get very tense fast if I handle it the wrong way.

Yep, it's a minefield. Maybe it was a set-up. Maybe her husband didn't know his wife would be sun bathing nude. Maybe he never even told her you'd be stopping by. Too many unknowns. I'd be tempted to play dumb with them.

If its not just an accident, then it was likely a voyeur set up...She wanted you to see her. In either case, I bet they tell you it was an accident ... so you really can't be sure.

 

Although wife sharing is a possibility, if they wanted to do that, she could have waited upstairs and come down nude while you were under the sink.

 

Definitely tell you wife everything except the part about being excited .

I think your reading too much into this. They are probably nudists and her husband either didn't tell her or she just forgot you were coming over. If she met you at the door nude that be a different story, but she should be allowed to be nude in the privacy of her own home or backyard. Being nude doesn't have to immediately lead to sex. The whole extended family are perfectly comfortable being nude and it doesn't mean an impromptu orgy. What I would do is mention to your friend that you went over there house to take a look at the dishwasher and seen his Wife sunbathing naked at the pool and see how what he says. He probably will apologize if it made you uncomfortable. If he says did it turn you on, then your first reaction is probably correct, you were being setup for some kind of swinging situation.

I wouldn't tell anyone myself, not even your wife ... unless the purpose of this post is exploring the possibilities with this other couple? Just make your excuses to John and apologise for not showing up as you had promised. Make another appointment and see what happens. If you get another eyeful, or, a more explicit move, then, well, you absolutely know for sure whats going on.

Tell your wife this and how the guy told you to go over etc.. You did nothing wrong so no reason NOT to tell your wife. Laugh about it together and keep it as an inside joke between the two of you. Don't mention anything to the neighbour or his wife.

 

Either Jane didn't know you were there (her H forgot to tell her) or if he did, then she's flirting and hoping. Either way, you did the right thing by leaving.

Try? Why are you scared of telling her? I would've told her the minute you walked in the door.

As for this other couple, stay away from them. If your gut tells you they are dangerous, trust your gut. The most dangerous people to us are sometimes the friendliest.

T....I and my wife are nudest....however we are private about it with our textile friends and are very protective about this. You don't really know if the husband knows his wife was sunbathing or not, but according to the husband, he and his wife had discussed this.

 

There are many differing possibilities, either the husband likes to display his wife, with or without the wife knowing (you don't really know what was or was not discussed between the two, you only know what he told you)

 

Maybe he did discuss with the wife and he doesn't know she was nude in the backyard....she took it upon herself to exhibit, making her a exhibitionist and possibly tempting someone.

 

Maybe they are both fishing for someone to join in nudism with them or even swinging....

 

My next step after telling my wife would be to ask him, BTW, you're wife must have forgotten I was coming over to work on your dishwasher etc....

I plan to tell my wife today so wish me luck. As some of you said I really did nothing wrong and in fact wish my wife could have seen for herself. I hope she understands but I can see her being really ticked off at John and Jane.

Ass? Just wondering, was she lying on her stomach the whole time? I am not saying that wouldn't be awkward if you saw that either, but I guess it is a "little" better than if she was lying on her back. I mean, sunbathing nude on her back and you can see everything you need to see. You can see her, um, shaving habits, her nipples, etc. Stuff like that. As a man, we simply never forget that image. I don't know why, but we don't.

My H has seen pretty much all my friends, my mother, sister Inlaw & my cousin naked at some point (I know he's a lucky guy!)...due to lack of communication in every circumstance I just named off.

Yes...LOL. She was laying on her stomach and feeling out of place I left pretty fast. It was tough. Honestly this woman on a scale of 1-10 is a solid 9 but as you said the years of marriage kept me in check as it always has

Fact is....my wife would have chuckled and then scolded ME for making a big deal out of it.

 

It certainly would not have had an impact on the friendship.

 

My guess is that she expected him at some point but figured she didn't need to be involved. So she did her normal afternoon activity which was to relax and get a tan.

 

The last thing on her mind is that you would have thought beyond that. Crazy thing about women is that they view things differently than we men do.

If she was found dangling off the dishwasher in the nude then yes this was a set up, but she was lying on her stomach beside the pool oblivious of the OP and maybe even asleep.

 

Had he not felt so guilty regarding his own thoughts here he would have called out to her, she would have hastily covered up having forgotten all about the fact he was due to call and they all would have had a good laugh about it and so would his wife.

BUT because he is frightened of giving the game away that he having such impure thoughts, he slunk away and has kept this from his wife...

Of all the post you get the award for being the furthest off. I have never had a crush on Jane and was not frightened in any way. I believe in respect and I respect both of them enough to know I didn't belong there at that time. I would expect my wife to leave without a word so that's what I did. Good guess though because she is hot but 32 years with my wife keeps things in order

The laughter stopped about an hour ago. She came up with the idea to invite them over and see if anything was mentioned or if they would bite should she throw out some bait.

We both were 90% sure Jane did this knowing what was going to happen. After a short text from her I'm now at 110%. We aren't sure about John and not sure if we will ever know.

The text simply reads: Did you like?

Oh geez man, tell your wife. You have to. She could stumble upon that, you never know. Your neighbour could show her the text, who knows? Just tell her. Get yourself off the hook here. You are killing yourself if you don't tell your wife because you are in trouble if she finds out the wrong way.

 

 

The neighbour is a lot of trouble. Not good. I agree with avoiding her at all costs, but you still need to tell your wife so that she trusts you. Hiding it and then finding out about it later would not be good.
