So we've been dating for just over 2 years and since the first day we "officially" dated I've been keeping a journal for her. In the journal I would write down anything, from a funny conversation we had or something very serious. Things like her goals, how our future would look like, marriage, where I was thinking about proposing, memories to just my feelings for her in depth. I was planning on giving this to her on the day I propose to her.

Would you consider this journal that I've been doing for the past 2+ years sweet and romantic? Would you like it if someone did that for you? What are your thoughts on this?

Has she done anything romantic for you?

I'd love it

But I'd wait till your Honeymoon it to give it to her. That way you have the proposal and feelings about that in there, and same for the wedding excitement and how you felt seeing her walk down the aisle etc

i feel its a really lovely thoughtful thing to do ....i think a proposal however is momentous and overwhelming enough on its own...so i third the suggestion of after.....best wishes...deb

I don't know. It might be, after the wedding. I think I would find something like that too much pressure, but then again I'm not in love. It sounds something to leave in a will, to be honest.
