Living with my ex

Recommended Posts

Can anyone give some insight on how to deal with this?

She broke it off with me and I tried very hard in this relationship so it hurts like hell.

I really want to talk to her and be 'close' again, but I know I should not and told her my boundaries.

For the first time I came home and she is not home. My mind starts wondering, whether or not she is out with a friend, with someone new, etc. It gets very lonely and it's been hard to cope with us doing our own thing when we have always done them together.

She can easily be cold and warm with me. How do I shut my emotions off when I'm still with her? I can't move out yet due to financial reasons.

You cannot simply shut things on/off as long as you two are living together. Especially difficult b/c you seem to be the one who was rejected. Spend less time at home and find outside activities. The less you see your wife, the better. Date, hobbies, other friends, etc.
