Does a guy ever forget how much he likes a woman even after a few months?

I am in a very very good friendship with a guy i've known for a while. He is 7 years older than me and he is very mature and that is something that is very important to me when i look for qualities in a mate.

 

I am in college and during my summer break is when our relationship kind of got more serious. Originally , he is a family friend and when i returned from school, we noticed each other in a much more dramatic way than before. We hardly even paid attention to each other before.

 

We got to know each other over the summer and I have grown to really really like him. I have told him of my interest and so has he but we have never acted upon our feelings. We just flirt, talk, and are very drawn to each other immediately when we are in each other's presence. I didn't want to start anything for the fact that I will be away for school and don't want to leave a gap in between what i started.

 

I am leaving to go back to school in august and it is in another state. He has expressed to me firmly that he is very interested in me. The thing is... I would really like things to remain the same when I come back during christmas break and other breaks and also after school is done.

 

Do you think that he will have the same feelings for me when I do come back? How long does it take for one to forget about someone they really like? I really feel that my feelings for him will remain the same even after a while of not seeing him and I hope it is the same for him.

 

I feel a great connection to him and don't want to lose that. He has expressed that he is strongly interested in me but i would like to know if the feelings will be there later on?

 

Does a guy ever forget how much they like a woman? What if he finds someone? Will feelings spark up again when he sees me? I am lost and possibly in love.

in another words, you want to "dangle" a carrot in front of a guy for years to come (till you finish collage) so that you can have a relationship with him to find out if he really is "the one". Yes I'm sure the guy will wait for you (sarcasam). A guy will like you, and will (most of the time) be faitfull if in a relationship, however if there is no relationship, and his "interast" left for a few months at a time he will not wait (unless he is a desperate nerd.)

Depends.. I would say no if he doesn't find somone and yes if he finds somone and he and that person

hit it off.
