LittleMiss
I was wondering if hemroids go away on their own or do you have to get some kind of treatment. I have never had them before and I'm not sure, but I think I may have one now.
alphamale
actually, TIKI is our resident expert on 'rhoids but I feel confident enough to answer. 'Rhoids come in many flavours, some are weak, some are nasty and require surgery. usually they'll go away if you put cortisone cream on them (Anusol, etc...). The best medication is prescription only and has high levels of cortisone in it which is an anti-inflammatory and redcueds the swelling and pain. The OTC creams you buy at the drugstore are ok but don't work as quick or as well. When the 'rhoids get so bad that they start to mess up your daily routine then it is time to go see the Doctor. Have fun.
whichwayisup
Where is Tiki anyway??? She IS the expert on hemmies... What I can say is, whatever you do DO NOT TRY TO PUSH THEM BACK IN. Get some Prep H. Take baths with baking soda and be very gentle when wiping...Get Charmin Ultra (the softest and BEST TP ever made! Once you use Charmin you won't ever wanna go back to the other stuff!! Trust me on this one! )
