aileD Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 she doesn't need to wait 18 years - she needs to wait for a couple of months. she will now what it is this summer, when he plans to move on and file. his actions THIS SUMMER will tell her everything she needs to know. This is a good point. Windy, what's your plan if the summer comes and goes and he gives reasons why he can't leave? Some seemingly legit reasons (excuses) would be: -kid isn't doing well emotionally -a big birthday/anniversary/vacation/holiday is coming up -wife gets sick,depressed, unemployed, etc -kids starting school, doesn't want to mess up beginning of school year -wife's parents get ill -etc etc etc Are you firm in your deadline? Because we've a seen this before. These are all great reasons why "the time isn't right".....but there's always gonna be some reason. So if he starts extending the date ....what's your plan?
