Author the_lost_1
I mean I guess the point of this thread is that I'm tired of being rejected, like all the time.......I mean, I'm 29, never having kissed a girl or anything maybe I'm too hard on myself but I understand that other posters have suggested to meet others that share the similar hardships (with hearing) and honestly I'm not really interested in a girl that may have hard of hearing issues, plus would kind of make me uncomfortable as well. That is your choice, but then also respect the reality that perhaps your impairment makes the women you pursue uncomfortable, as well.

Yeah I know what you're saying, that could be issue too.......man it's like I'm stuck in the middle of canyon Like at one point I did have coffee chat with that girl who was hearing impaired and it didn't go so well, and basically she never texted me so I unfriended her on fb and blocked her which was like months ago so yea

normal person
Couple months or month ago, I gave her my business card (girl that works at bar) and haven't heard from her. Finally I saw her again yesterday and she seemed excited to see me, told me she lost it and asked me to write it down on her pad which I did, and I kept looking at my phone all day expecting text from her, still nothing. Next day, I kept looking at my phone again and still no text from her. Take her number rather than giving her yours, then you're in control. Women want to be pursued, not to have to pursue. If she wanted your number unsolicited, I would say she's interested but still probably prefer you get in touch with her rather than vice versa. If you merely thought she was appealing and just gave her your card without any indication that she was interested, why do you think she'd text you? Merely giving someone your number doesn't make them interested. I would say you should read more into context clues. Then again, if you don't have interest in romance, I don't really see what the problem is. It's like you're saying you don't like basketball and you also aren't any good at free throws. So don't play basketball, then (?). If you don't have the interest in it, there's no sense to keep forcing yourself to do it if it's making you unhappy.
