Last night was our last night in our old rental before we begin our new life in a new home and a new town. It was bittersweet. H and I have had a LOT of rough times here. It feels right to start anew in a new place.

Next week will be 1 year of NC with the OM. It's not been easy the whole time, but it's clear to me that doing the right thing has been good for my marriage. I still wake up every day choosing to be a better person and better wife to my Husband.

I hope he is doing the same. I feel happier most of the time. Trust is still not 100% there for either of us I'm sure, but I suppose it may never be. All I can do is be accountable to myself. Wish us luck loveshackers!

Wife and I moved states and it's been a blessing on levels we never expected.

Congratulations on your new home, happy to see you still have hair....you do still have hair? It's a crappy process, buying homes.

We are looking to move too.

I wish you luck and happiness

We just moved a few months ago from the house where the A was conducted and where some of the sex happened. Let me tell you, it's a huge, HUGE burden lifted. No, it doesn't make everything OK, but man, it really does help. It's the clean break that a lot of people need to move on. Next up, the car (where some of the other sex occurred) is going away next week. I love that car, but, man, seeing it go will be such a relief. That's the "last of it" from the A, the bed didn't make the trip to the new house, and everything else was his and not in anyway associated with me or the WW.

It will help, I promise you. Just keep doing the work after you get there because things will feel so much better, you might think "its over". It's not, if it were as easy as moving to a new house, everyone who wanted to R would do it. But, like I said, it'll help, especially if your old home had any part in the A!

Neither of our A's took place in our home, but the fighting, the crying, the tears, the frustration, all the bad feelings did. I want them to leave all those feelings behind with the house.

And I suspect you'll leave a lot of them there when you close the door for the last time. I know my W and I did. And that house was special to both of us, first home, the home we were married in, and, in many ways, a dream home.

Not anymore, the ~2 months after d-day until we moved, I could not wait to get out of it. Yes, the A being conducted there made it worse, but, either way, I was done; I needed something to help establish a "break" in my mind. And the new house was a huge help in that. I hope it's as valuable for you as it has been for my W and I.
