natphil6
Hi All, I wonder if you can help I been separated unofficially for 5 years and have just recently contacted via letter my wife as our son is now 18 and I want to now sell the house and stop paying the mortgage in loo of child support. My question is I am in a large amount of tax debt unrelated to my wife ( this debt was accrued during the time I had a business with my current partner and the accounttant stuffed us over )as well as my partner who I lived with for 5 years has had a car accident and can't work so I am supporting her. On this basis can I request in my divorce that we need to sell this house quickly and stop the mortgage payments as I am really struggling. Thanks Phil Longhurst
springy
This sounds like a question you should be asking an attorney.
harrybrown
yes, please go see an attorney. you need expert advice for the area of the world where you live. Sorry that the accountant was not helpful. you may be able to report him or her. I am in the USA. but different states here have a separate state monitoring system.
