We don't work together, or near each other most of the time. A couple weeks ago, though, we saw each other every day of the week and flirted our way through each conversation. I have since developed an obsession with him, to the point where I've started plotting ways to "accidentally" run into him in his working area (which I don't really have a reason to be anywhere around on a normal day).

As of this weekend I haven't done anything extra creepy yet, but I fear that I may soon, with no intervention.:eek::eek:

"Accidently" bumping into your crush at work is not the worst thing. Just don't do it more then once or twice a week. When you feel the urge, do anything else.

Try getting the person to spend time with you out of work, even if it's just lunch or a happy hour after work.

Once I had a crush with my coworker, I made trillion excuses to find a reason to talk to her. I guess she liked me as well. But at some point I realised that she's not the type of person that I would like to date.

However, there was another dude who had a crush on her as well. He got fired because of sexual harassment (not psychical) towards her.

Bottom line is: make sure that your crush is really into you before you go further with it. Also being obsessed with someone could give you vague image of the person that you're attracted to.

Well, based on our interaction so far and in the past two days when I saw him by accident (actually by accident), it's pretty obvious that he does like me. I think the question comes down to what each of us wants to do with it. I ran into another person earlier who I thought was cute but I couldn't picture being with in the long term. The first person, though, seems more mature and stable. I guess in this case my fear revolves around the relationship not working out in the long term, when I plan to stay with the company for a while, and the unlikely possibility that I'm wrong about how he feels about me (and also if he's married or not--I didn't check for a ring).

Ask if he wants to have lunch. It's low key, non committal, can be platonic (work colleagues only) but is optimal for ferreting out more info like is his married or in a relationship
