CarbonCopy
I'm not dating this guy, but I do like him and I'm pretty sure he likes me but we are not together (for many different reasons). The past couple of times that we've texted, the conversation has been horrible, and last night was probably the worst. It literally felt like pulling teeth. So after he said goodnight, I told him not text me anymore if he has nothing to say, that I didn't ask him to text me and that speaking to me shouldn't seem like a chore or burden. Was I being unreasonable? He said he was busy at work -- so WHY text me if you're busy? I didn't text him first nor is he under any obligation to text me. We're not dating, we don't speak every day, there's no commitment here. Don't text me if you're too busy to actually make a conversation and don't make me feel like a burden to talk to. If you don't want to talk to me, or are too busy to talk, then don't talk to me.
mikeylo
If you don't want to interact then stop on your end. You have said your side and it's not you are goin MIA on him. You are under no obligation to say anything more

I like talking with him, but if he's going to text me and barely say anything or seem disinterested (as he was last night), then I'd prefer he not contact me. So I let him know.
