finalf72 Posted August 15, 2005 Share Posted August 15, 2005 hey, ive had close friends who left forever, then i make new ones, and each time, i love them all. with the group of buddys im with now, im starting to loose care for that anymore cuz i know theyll just leave forever and the cycle will repeat. is this normal? imstarting not to care as much about friends anymore cuz of this, is this normal? is this just a phase in my life? im 18 years old. pearlsasinger Posted August 15, 2005 Share Posted August 15, 2005 I think a lot of people change friends as they mature and discover who they are or just enter a different stage in life. I definitely went through a few different groups of friends in high school. I think it's normal. However, friends have always remained very important to me. And it seems like the ones worth keeping have remained in my life...but not without some effort on both parts. (Undoubtedly, my best friendships have occured after high school.) On the other hand, some people are pretty content with spending most of their time alone and there's nothing wrong with that. Link to post Share on other sites
