Soccer1986
In a situation where my best friend's ex girlfriend starts hitting on me I've taken the high road and cut contact with her. Girlfriends come and go but friendships with the homies last forever. If you are a guy in that situation it can be very tempting but getting involved with your best friend's ex girlfriend is asking for trouble unless he was the dumper and paired the two of you up and said that he thinks you make a better match for her. If I choose a woman over a best friend then I'm going to lose both the girlfriend eventually as well as my best friend.
basil67
My hubby and his best mate/cousin have dated a couple of the same girls. No issues there. I reckon it's probably only an issue if one mate still holds a flame for her.
knabe
I agree with basil. This completely depends on the person. I never got upset if one of my friends dated an old BF or crush. I mean, WE obviously weren't going to work out or happen, so I am supposed to deny my friend the possible relationship? That never made sense to me. How do you think your friend would react? Have you told him she is hitting on you?
