One of my neighbours is a shy girl who's about to get her degree, and is currently working on my university. She's 25 years old, kinda messy and old fashioned (in clothes and personality), but cute. Doesn't go out much, it's been a year and she never went to bars and restaurants from this town. We talked while I was having dinner, she sat next to me while I was watching TV. She's a huge geek - not that there's anything wrong with that, in fact I love it. She loves reading novels like The Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter and so on. I'm highly interested in her, but maybe I should take my time and go slow. Judging by her body language she's not that social, though she seems interested in talking to me and we laughed a lot yesterday. Any tips? How can I flirt with her? Should I ask for her number NOW or maybe wait a few more days? By the way, I've met a similar girl 5 years ago and I still regret the fact that I didn't flirt with her - I kept her as a friend and then she started dating a random guy.
