JadeStar
Ok heres a little update. I found my post on page 2 titled "Is this odd?" Tried replying to it hoping it would move it back to page one but it didn't for some reason. So anyway, for those of you that read that post, the latest on my friends husbands paycheck situation is. She said her husband has yet to file a grievence for them not fixing his paycheck. So a few weeks ago he takes the paycheck to his boss, the big man, the head honcho. He tells his boss it still hasn't been fixed, so his boss tells him he will take care of it since the person that does the paychecks has yet to do it. Keep in mind now, this is the middle of August and this happened sometime in April. Ok, so my friend tells me that her husband got his paycheck the other day, after bringing it to the attention of his boss saying he would fix it, and it still has yet to be fixed! She saw his paycheck after he opened it. He didn't even mention to her it wasn't fixed and he said nothing about filing a greivence. I have told her I really think he was not there that day, this makes no sence. He has filed greivences before over things but has made no attempt to do so over this matter. I tell her thats hes not going to file a greivence because there is nothing to correct. They can't/wont fix something that isn't there mistake. She did say she feels maybe he wasn't there on that day, but that the only reason she feels he might be telling the truth is 2 reasons. One because he brought it to her attention himself when he first found out about the "mistake." He didn't have to do that because she never checked his paychecks anyway, so it could have gone unnoticed on her part. The second reason is he told her that they had it down 8 hours leave pf personal time without pay. He siad he wouldn't ever take personal leave without pay, it would be with. I no longer no what to tell her, because I'm not sure it will ever be found out for sure as to why they wont fix the problem. He tells her that it makes him mad that they wont correct it, but yet makes no effort to try to get to the bottom of it. Just a little update there. Thanks for listening. Maria46
He wasn't at work that day. That's why he isn't making a big deal about it
Author JadeStar
Yep I agree. My friend thinks so too, but not real sure what can be done about it now. I told her to tell him she was going to his work and ask to see the clock rings that tells the dates and times of clocking in and out. (They may not let her see them) Just see what he has to say. But like I said even if she were to find out for sure, he'll probably either deny it and say it was their mistake or she would probably never find out where he was that day anyway.
