d0nnivain
Yes you should write at 19 & you should continue at 20 & beyond. J.K. Rowling was 32 when the 1st Harry Potter book was published. The characters were pre-teens. By your logic the world would not have the series because she was too old to write about such young people. Hogwash Write away . . .
GunslingerRoland
Still, due to my uncertainty, should I just write it now not to have any regrets? You don't have any uncertainty, I can guarantee you that you won't suddenly lose your ability to write once you turn 20, but I still (as I said earlier) would recommend that you do write if you are passionate about it. I should elaborate. As well, I will be doing an internship, and I'm unsure if I'll have time to write during that time. Now, I do have plenty of time to write, so should I just move past my stress and write, or wait for the internship, which I'm unsure about actually?

Don't wait for the internship. Do embrace it as a learning experience. You can have time in your life for work & hobbies.

Writing should be a creative outlet that helps you deal with stressed. It shouldn't add more. All I'm saying is don't give up something you enjoy just because you are turning 20. But in this moment don't put more pressure on yourself. If you have writer's block do something else. If you have a story burning to be told, let it out.
