Is it really over?

Ok, it's late but I don't know what else to try, so here's my situation: I came back for Erica but its too late. At this point I really don't know what to think.

 

 

 

I always thought that I would get at least one last chance with her, since the first time around the timing just wasn't there. Even her brother said I was the guy for her and although I just laughed, I thought it was true. We never got a second chance, I thought every couple gets at least one other chance if the first one was messed up. This past year she tried for me when I was involved and I did the same once someone snatched her up but neither of us ended our relationships for a shot at a second chance, wished I would've have now.

After that we took a break from calling.

 

 

 

I have been gone from the area and haven't talked to her in three months. So last week, for some reason I had a couple of dreams about her. Nothing really romantic just us having lunch like we done a many times before. Anyways I was going to go where she works and tell her how it is no holding back.

 

 

So yesterday I headed back to where she worked and found that she has moved away with some guy. One of the coworkers there whom knew her and I gave me the news, she said that Erica dated the guy for four months and decided to move away with him. She knew some of our history and said that it should've been you which left me speechless.

 

 

 

If a girl moves away with a guy like that is it about equal as getting engaged? She's only 20 so could she change her mind? At this point is it basically over and done with? Any other advice on this matther do say.

Wow dude.

 

Your going to have to accept the fact that she moved on.. You can't come between her and a new relationship. I wouldn't even try to contact her, because that is going to put to much hurt on you and it will confuse her. You had in your mind that you would go to her work and sweep her off her feet. Now you just have to wait and see if it works out with her and this guy. If not, then contact her and say you have been thinking about her, but dont DONT try to come between their relationship.

I don't know Jack... I'm of the opinion that he should contact her and see what's up. Sometime's people's feelings die down until they are face to face with their ex, and it all rushes back.

 

At least try to contact her and see how she is and ask to meet with her.

Maybe your right, I just wouldn't push the issue, I guess just to say hi and whats been going on would be ok, but you need to know you have enough controll not to beg for her back, and ask her to end her current relationship.

I don't know that it's over and done with forever, but I think you were under the impression that you could have her back instantly at the time of your choosing. Live and learn...

That all makes sense. I agree, even if she was still in town and I came swooping down for her, no guarantees that I would get her back. I just wanted that chance. Ironically, I was going to ask her to runaway with me for a short vacation. Neither one of us ever pushed the limits so that would have done it.

 

 

Rocko, so true about people's feelings dying down until faced to faced. I remember last year sometime I hadn't seen her for months then I went and visted with her she was absolutely estatic to see me even though she was seeing some one else. Thats just it, if I can't see her faced to faced I have no chance whatsoever. I don't see any reason to try and contact her at this point. She probably still has my number but I doubt she would call since she gets kind of chicken if we haven't talked in awhlile which is the case now. I guess thats that.
