AAA1980 Posted November 16, 2017 Share Posted November 16, 2017 I was always someone who thought I needed immediate physical attraction or there would be no shot of a relationship so I get it but I've learned that is not always the case now. A friend of mine we've known each other for years she was actually an ex wife of my ex friend who turned out to be a psychotic scumbag(that's another story for another day) while they were married we always got along great and I considered her a great friend. after the divorce we didn't see each other for awhile because things are weird after a couple who are your friends get a divorce so we kept in touch every once in awhile but after seeing each other at a wedding we rekindled the friendship and saw each other more often. I never thought of her in a romantic way but after spending time with her and realizing we make each other laugh all the time and bring a smile to both our faces whenever we hung out she stole my heart. Her personality and the fact that she cared for me and would do anything for me grew a passion for her inside of me that wanted to be intimate with her. After they reach a certain age I think you start to realize what's important and being with someone you love to be around all the time and makes you happy is the most important thing imo. I'm not saying I'd date someone obese or with bad hygiene but whithin reason passion can grow. So my advice to some of you who are struggling to meet the right person..Let a friendship blossom and see if it can grow. It doesn't have to be instant lust. I know not everyone works that way but I think a lot of people can if they open up their minds and hearts I know I'm glad I did and I'm with this women too this day. 2 Link to post Share on other sites

I know I'll always need at least facial/personality attraction to be with someone, but I do think my "body" attraction will vary, within reason. So many people do not think this way and are just fixed on the perfect physical body, regardless of age. Glad you found your soulmate in an unexpected way!! Link to post Share on other sites
