So people, what 'should' someone do in a broken marriage

You know what. I think when its all over and i am on my death bed, i would be very happy if i could say, i may not have been happy but at least i didn't **** up my kids by walking away from "the family".

 

many on LS claim you won't screw them up, but I am not convinced.

 

Whether or not a parent walking away screws up the kids may depend GREATLY on how badly the other parent will screw them up without the first parent around to prevent it.

I got other minor issues with it. i guess you could call them "daddy issues". (there is another thread on LS on that). i dont think i got screwed by it but i know what its like to grow up being a kid of a single mother and looking around at everyone else who seems to be in a "complete family" with both father and a mother. i know I never want my kids to experience that sort of envy as a child and teen growing up.
