I am confident and knew exactly what I was looking for so I wanted a number pretty fast, on a first conversation was good. When my bf made contact with me online we exchanged for a few minutes. I needed to log out so I sent him my number and I said : here is my number, if you are interested to know more about me you can call. The rest is history. He thought I was pretty forward but he liked it. Now I know some women are not used to online dating and they need a few conversation to feel at easy, some will never want to give you their number in fear you're a murderer or something. Been speaking to a girl on Tinder - we have had around 7 or 8 lengthy messages. Today I said my usual line (do you fancy texting instead? Tinder sometimes doesn't notify me of measages! My number is.....' I'm sure many have heard that one before But she hasn't text or responded and that was a few hours ago. She could be busy but sometimes I wonder if it might put some off. When I say texting I mean on my mobile, not on Tinder so like whatsapp or something. Basically an indirect way of asking for her number. Usually I can sense when the time is right to ask for it but feeling like maybe I did it too soon this time as she hasn't been in touch and was very quickly back when we were messaging on Tinder. If she is put off by your phone number after 7 or 8 lengthy messages I suggest you move to the next woman. If she wants to act like a scared cat she can do that with some other guy.
