drakon12
Hello. I was on NC with this girl -not an ex, LJBF stuff- and it's been like 2 months. Tomorrow, I will go grab a drink with friends. I'm just afraid of getting emotional and relapsing from my NC. I don't drink often, it'll be my first in 3 months or something. So there is risk of me getting intoxicated, emotional and I'm afraid I might text/call her. I'm thinking about giving my friends a heads-up so they can stop me if I attempt such a thing. But, besides this, how can I stop myself? Haven't deleted her number, we're still connected on social media, because it'd stain my reputation if I went all hurt and angry over "nothing" and I don't want that. Thoughts? sdraw108
A friend of mine once had an issue with drunk calling some girl he liked, who wasn't interested. He was worried it was getting a little stalker-ish (it probably was). So he gave me the girl's number to look after and deleted it from his phone. I promised I would let him have it any time he liked, as long as he wasn't drunk and I was convinced he wasn't going to do something stupid! Needless to say he never asked me for the number and it's now ancient history. Perhaps you can do something similar (although the social media account might be a tricky one).
1fish2fish
What's more important - your reputation (and I don't see how it would be "Stained" if you deleted her off SM) or your self respect and dignity? Seriously, if you are that worried about clouded judgment through alcohol, delete her number and delete her off SM.

d0nnivain
Good for you. You have more self control then you gave yourself credit for even when your inhibitions were down.
amaysngrace
Delete her contact then you can't call her since nobody knows phone numbers anymore. Easy peasy
