She probably isn't allowed to be socializing with customers. So introduce yourself, see if she introduces herself back. I like your style Enigma, but this is customer service 101. It's how a good server will treat all customers. Friendly servers are particularly good at making all customers feel good about the interaction. It's tricky when good customer service and attraction looks the same. The weather is a good subject. After you do that for a while, ask if she ever goes on break. See if you can spend a few minutes with her then. I don't know about the spot near you, but you won't get that kind of service on the regular at any of the chains near me. Thanks for the compliment. This is probably my number 2 way to get dates.
