If you've been married a long time ( or in a long term, committed relationship) is there anything you used to do with your spouse that you miss?

I sometimes miss going out dancing. I was never good at it ( in a dance competition, Elaine from "friends" would beat me no problem:laugh:)but it was fun.

We don't do that anymore, largely because his arthritis and past injuries make it hard for him.

What about you? Do you miss anything from your younger days?

( btw...for those of you who haven't seen it, here's the "

"..since I'm worse at it than she is, maybe it's better I don't do it anymore:p:laugh::laugh:)

Yes... I was a skydiver and BASE jumper for 17 years in my youth. Logged almost 600 jumps from various aircraft... BASE jumped some bridges, as well.

Eventually, my body started breaking down from too many hard landings and bad openings. My left ankle was in constant dull pain, knees were hurting and my back felt tweaked after a hard opening. I had to quit.

I miss the sport, but its part of aging. Since I stopped no more aches or pains, though.

I didn't jump with a spouse, as I've never been married, but did jump with a girlfriend. I moved away, so I don't know if she continued in the sport or not.
