Can't speak for other guys but I accessorized myself. Absent the wedding band signifying our M, all my 'stuff' was of my own doing, both when single for many years and when married.. My exW bought me a nice diamond ring to take the place of the plain band whenever we went out to formal occasions but that was it. I preferred the plain band due to my work.
