Neptune
Begin by trying to define as best you can who that special someone would be.
Rocko
She'll find you. Just keep working on yourself in the meantime.
elijahBailey
I need a little help finding that special someone. But I dont know where to begin... Begin by.... not looking for her. Can't explain it, but, sometimes, that's just how things turn out.
LittleMiss
I have found that when you are not looking things just fall into place.
Neptune
I think not looking is only half the equasion. The reason is why you are not looking. The right reason is that you are so into working on your own lifestyle, improving who you are to the point that there is not much time for seeking. If, for example you are not looking because you have given up on a frenetic search and are on the internet looking at girlie pictures, then that is quite different
Big9erFan
Neptune, While I agree that not looking is only half the equation, I see the other half a bit different. First you have to be able to put yourself into a situation where you can meet people. Secondly, you have to be happy with where you are ( in general ) and who you are. If you aren't happy with yourself, people can sense that a mile away, and that's a total turn off.
Author Javelin
I'd like to begin by saying, thank you for the replies, and sorry for the delay in posting. Took a bit of courage to actually read what people have wrote. Also, I'm not single at the moment. I'm almost sure I will be soon, because I cannot see myself with the person I am for much longer. Each passing day I can see that she is not the one that's going to make me happy. Rather, I can see myself making a mistake in the future by staying with her. Begin by trying to define as best you can who that special someone would be. The normal qualities people look for: loving, selflessness, great personality. I'm not much into looks, however they're always a plus if the lady is a cutie. I'm also looking for a little more, which is not something a normal guy would want in his lady. I'm looking for someone with all the above qualities, and whom is into games. What kind of games? Well Console, Computer, and anything that we can sit down and play together. I'm looking for someone who would want to go out and pick out a 2-player game with me and want to play and conquer it together! I'm looking for a lady that would want to hook up a Network in our apartment and run through the Neverwinter Night series with me after work. (Funny, because I tried to get my current g/f into gaming and it just wont work. She wont even try them, all she'll do is sit and watch me play...I'd rather play with her... I even try doing all of the things she likes to do...She wont try mine though, because, "she knows she wont like em.") and I dont know where to even begin searching for someone like this... ;( What do you guys think? EIN
book your tickets to the next E3 Convention.
Blackfrost
Either the E3, PAX, or possibly the Siggraph convention is the place to find serious women gamers, which is what it appears you're hunting for. I go to scout these every year, as part of my job. The population of women at them has been increasing exponentially for the last couple years now.
