Life is everything that's happening while you're waiting for it to start.

 

I've known a couple of extremely talented people that eventually decided that big break probably won't happen. They came down to earth and started planning more mundane goals. They've done pretty well.

 

They were in late 20's when they had their revelations. Your pic indicates you're around that age too.

The goals we all dreamed of in our late teens, are often replaced after tens years of real life.

 

No Joke, I admire horny, attractive women. It would be so easy (you could pick up a guy tonight) for you to get sex, but you have the character to wait and do it right.

 

I've known a couple of single/divorced mom's with that same character...I've always wished (and offered in one case) that I could just hold such a lady.

 

Naturally it is taken as a line. But it's the other side of Gold Pile.

I'm in New England and over 40...too old for you, so don't think I'm lying to you.

Miffy, I can't say how much the children restrict me from achieving my goals, but I would like to think rather about how to achieve them than what's preventing me from achieving them. Ironically when we think that there is no chance, things go smoothly, and when we think everything is on our side, things just don't happen.

 

Gold Pile, I am 30 and my BF is 48. I can't describe myself as a horny and attractive woman that needs sex, that would be degrading my whole personality. I need life. Sex too.

 

I conclude that you haven't read my other posts in this thread so if you have no better things to do you might wanna read 'em.

I know that this is an old post, but reading it struck a chord with me.I for one see that you are a pisces ,which you pointed out as another member as a water sgn.I too am a water sign and tend to "hang out with other water signs.They all have an interior dreamworld where great dreams exist but most dont only want this big dream ,they would be happy with something else too.Something more realistic , something simpler.You say dance classes will not change your life nor would a movie , or a walk to the park.But indeed it would,a dance class would allow you to meet people, a movie would alow you to leave your home , and a walk to the park perhaps you would meet other parents or take the time to pick up trash from the ground left by uncaring hands.These are the things I do.I know its very difficult to be a parent of multiple children and still have dreams ,or time, or energy left in the small time you have to yourself.And it can be torterous to have dreams and be to busy or afraid of the changes that would come to your life if you were persuing them.I am in a relationship with a much older man who is not interested in marrige,we do live together , and I know at first it bothered me a bit but now It does not ,I personally feel no need for marrige . Your situation is different b/c you live in diff countries.

Persue your own dreams and dont hide behind anyone elses,just a small thing can start this ball rolling , one friend that you make at your "dance class" could be the one who pushes you to persue your dreams.Or perhaps at the park you meet a woman married to the music exec.you really never know.If you live your life nuetral and not engaging with others you leave it without your stamp, when you could have affected humanity in a positive way.The best way to live a happy life is to give happiness to others , voulenteer somewhere, there are plenty in need.Thankyou for listening....and sorry my brain works faster than my hands my writing style tends to be jumbled.
