selective anorexia?

Recommended Posts

See thats the thing, I was used to eating six REGULAR meals a day. But I had to focus so much to make myself eat that much that on some days I'd "take off," and just not eat. Its not an emotional thing...its just like..."dammit I'm tired of eating so much, I need a break," type of thing I guess. When you eat a lot in a very short period of time, your body will absorb what it's used to, and expel the rest. If you eat enough, you may not even digest all of it completely. Your appetite won't shut down, your body just takes what it needs and then the rest is history, so to speak. You are right though, that its normal. Completely. Society says you need breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The healthier people eat more food, more often, and they're still fit. Don't be fooled by what everyone else is doing. Take Arnold, for instance. You think he became successful because he did what everyone around him was doing? Everyone used to LAUGH at him at the gym because of the things he did, and now they're doing HIS exercises in the gym. Who's laughing now?

Anyway, I think its unhealthy to not eat enough of what your body needs every day. You should go through a few intake calculations to find out what your body needs to survive, and add on amounts here and there based on your amount of physical activity, and you'll be fine. Again, just make sure you're giving your body its daily needs, or you'll be in trouble.
