You didn't make a move, so I'm guessing that you weren't comfortable doing so. And that's OK. Cleaning your place before guests is just about appearing to be like a competent adult. Checking if you like pets is also about making sure your guests are comfortable. Opening wine is something I do with anyone I'm happy to talk with. It appears if you simply ignore them for a while from your end respect simply grows in them for us. I am interested in one girl. She is too. You need to find a balance between pushing too hard and keeping it cool. Ignoring is over the top, and so is "insisting she settle down". I mean, what is that all about?
