JVort
So my GF and I had a few day breakup which we've done a few times in the past year. In that window, my GF friended 3 of my male friends on Facebook. They all accepted as she is attractive Im guessing. She doesn't know any of these guys she's never met them. I thought it was tremendously inappropriate and disrespectful and really kinda creepy. I would never randomly friend her female friends. Plus, she didn't friend any female friends. I spoke with her and she had no real answer for why she did it. She defended 2 of the 3 but didn't the 3rd and continues to be his friend today. She never met him but she likes many of his posts and pics and even where he works. This is just bizarre to me. I don't understand. Its just weird and wrong. Am I crazy? snowboy91
Firstly - she has the freedom to contact whoever she wants. Girls and guys are able to be friends with each other. Secondly - if you guys are "broken up" she has the freedom to do whatever she wants. You have no power over that. Thirdly (and most importantly) - I'd seriously consider the reasons you two keep having "few day" break ups. That level of instability in a relationship just sounds like too much stress to me. Think about whether she is the right person for you - why do you keep "breaking up"? Can you resolve those problems?
d0nnivain
A "few" of these so called mini-breaks up already in your only year long relationship indicates that neither of you handle conflict maturely. It's a sign of inherent dysfunction in your relationship. While her adding your male friends is inherently inappropriate, she did it for 2 reasons: 1). to annoy you & 2. to keep track of you (Through them she could see your activity). Presuming that your buddies knew she is/was your GF & that you two were fighting, I'd be very cautious about keeping them as friends. Their behavior was equally disloyal.
