Johnny_Rico
There is so much smoke that it cannot be outdoors unfortunately. Both of us like being outside and such, so I am a bit worried the bad air quality might effect chemistry.
d0nnivain
Do they have arcades by you? Can you drive somewhere with better air quality?
Lotsgoingon
If you guys can't survive a bad air outbreak, then you don't have chemistry. Chill on the chemistry worry ... and go out and do something fun ... movie, theater, club, bookstore, cafe ... heck, wall through a mall if you want. There will always be plenty of rains, storms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, air pollution alerts, fires ... smoke from fires ... and so ... your worry is misplaced. Lose the fear of "messing up" and go out and let some fun happen.
smackie9
Do something different like indoor rock climbing or one of those indoor trampoline places, play a game of pool and have some beers.

Lose the fear of "messing up" and go out and let some fun happen. The OP REALLY doesn't want to be outside right now if he's living in certain areas of the country. Wildfires are raging all over certain places right now and the air outside is a health hazard because of it. Right now, the smoke is so bad around here that it looks like a New England fog rolling through; it's nasty. We're one tier away from having any outdoor activities at the school completely canned because of it. An indoor rock-climbing wall could be fun if you and your date are in good enough shape to handle it. Even the beginner tracks at some places will leave you chewed up. It'd be one awkward date if either of you tweaked something on those walls. This might be a good time to pull out the "Karate Kid" date and take her to a big arcade. Mini-golf, go-carts, ski-ball, etc..etc.. Bowling isn't a bad option either.
kendahke
One of those escape room activities. It will give you insight on how she problem solves and works with others to formulate a solution. And they're fun.
