How busy are the bars going to be this holiday weekend?

Thinking about going to a bar this weekend, but I don't want to go if its dead because of the holiday-or if people go travel or do something worthwhile than go to a bar on a Saturday night. Or should I just wait 2 more weeks, until the then? I don't want to make the mistake of paying $$$ for parking, and 2 cover charges when there aren't any people.

Not everyone is able to travel on a holiday weekend, sometimes they are stuck at home for various reasons (cost, other commitments, or if they have casual jobs working at the few places that are open). If anything the bars will probably be more busy because they have more time to sleep off potential hangovers.

 

Look and see if any of the bars in the area you want to go to have special events on. Find the event on Facebook and see how many people are going. It's no guarantee but it's a good start.

Depends on the bar. The clubs in the travel destinations should be crowded. The "regular" ones in big cities like LA will be dead while all the regulars are away for the weekend. I don't know where Angelinos go for long weekends but being from the East Coast I know the big clubs in NYC will be ghost towns but you won't be able to get into bars in the Hamptons or down the Jersey shore.

I'm wanting to go to the clubs more, but I figure since its the end of summer, there probably won't be any of the young crowd there, at least where I'm at and I want to go primarily to manhunt, but I think my best bet to go is next weekend, when everything is back to normal.

Manhunting lol. I'm a pretty great guy, and I live in LA but you won't find me in a club. You should look for love in less troubled waters. Also, how real is someone that hangs out in clubs going to really be? So many fish in the sea.
