Flirting with the Opposite Sex

What do you all think about Flirting with the opposite sex all the time? Do you think thats what it may take to land a Long Term SO. If so. When would you cap it.

 

I have a buddy SA and I think he is able to land a LTR over me, because he flirts with most women. To the point where if he can have multiple women in his life for physical action. He will. He was with his wife for almost 30 yrs. 9 as a couple from high school and 19 married. They are split now.

 

I just gaging what everyone thinks about that. In my head. If you flirt all the time. You might as well say that you will have a lot of suitors in your life. There is no point to having a LTR.

 

I almost think that truthfully we are not designed for monogamy for life. Depending on where your at in life. I personally don't want to date all these different women. I just can't imagine how fun it would be, unless they are really into you.

The important thing here is to find out what you want.

 

Then chase it like nobody's business, but flirt in a way that women accept. If you want to flirt with many women, go for it, and practice hard. Just realize only certain women accept a guy that moves on from woman to woman to woman.

 

If you want a monogamous relationship go for it.

It's very true that monogamy is a thing invented by society; many animal societies don't have it, and ancient humans didn't have this either. But there are very practical benefits to this.

I always laugh at people saying humans are made polygamous. I agree that there is a bigger percentage than what may have been estimated in the past, but it's not an absolute. I am someone who can't ever crush on more than one person and I know I'm not the only one out there since I do have friends that feel the same way.

 

Anyways, I would say that flirting while in a LTR is risky and disrespectful unless the partner's into that (which is totally possible too!).
