Sully0013
Me and my ex were broken up for a little less than two weeks. We just recently got back together. I found out that he slept with a girl he knows and that he had talked bad about. I understand he was single and had every right to do it. But he says that i should have any hurt feelings about it. Even after i explained to him that i felt like he could replace me just like that. What do y'all think. Please opinions!
Zahara
Why did you both break up?
Author Sully0013
We broke up because he had just went through a life changing experience and I decided I would not use that as an excuse to treat me any way he wanted.
stillafool
I agree with him that you guys were broken up so he had a right to do as he pleases. As far as replacing you easily - you can also replace him just as easy as he can replace you so don't worry about that.
bathtub-row
I had an ex bf do the exact same thing. He started dating someone he referred to as the village bicycle—everyone has had a ride on her. And it was basically true. Then she proved to be a total drama queen after he broke up with her - complete with a fake eptopic pregnancy. So ridiculous. We got back together but the way he handled the whole thing with her really caused me to lose respect for him. Hon, this is what guys do when they’re hurting and an opportunity for sex arises. You need to decide if you can get past it or not, but you shouldn’t view it as though he was cheating on you. In the classic words of Ross on Friends: “We were on a break!!!”
Author Sully0013
Yeah, she was the one that messaged me and told me that they slept together and that’s when I asked him. He ever said before all this that’s she was a hoe and sleeps with everyone..
d0nnivain
He didn't replace you. He used her for cheap NSA sex.

Not sure what that means. In any case, this is the guy that fights with you in public. I’m sure there’s more drama in your relationship than just these two issues. Smells bad.
Happy Lemming
When a woman says to me, "I no longer want to see you"; before she can finish her next sentence, my internal mute button has kicked in. I don't care what she is saying next. My brain is already contemplating where I can find her replacement. In many instances, I've picked up a woman at a bar hours after getting dumped. I'm looking for "Miss Right for tonight", if it turns into a relationship... OK, if not... OK, I don't really care. Did you think your boyfriend was going to pine away all sad, sitting at home?? No, he went out and found your replacement... fairly easily.
ExpatInItaly
We broke up because he had just went through a life changing experience and I decided I would not use that as an excuse to treat me any way he wanted. So what has changed in 14 days? Anyway, he didn't replace you, as the others have said. He had some no-strings fun. Evidently, he isn't above sleeping with a "ho" - though I side-eye any guy who uses that word to describe a woman, let alone when he turns around and has sex with her.

smackie9
Well he did it because he got busted and didn't want that topic to be part of the next round of arguments. Once you are finished grieving over this, you will come to realize you loved the wrong guy all for the wrong reasons. Chin up, it was for the best. Your friends must be relieved. I hope they will rally around you and support you.
