Any of you ever hit it off with a co-worker?

I'm asking cause i got this receptionist where i work, if given the chance i can see things happening. she's been there for a little over a month. And only recently has she begun talking to me.

 

I know the majority of people here are against this, and i know the reasons behind it. But i've never heard real stories or real experiences of this. It's kind of those "seeing is believing" things really.

 

So what have been your experiences good or bad with female co-workers in the flirting/dating...etc scene?

I've dated women from the office four or five times. It was always a disaster. I don't do that anymore.

I've had a relationship with a person I used to work with. It was after we no longer worked together though. We had established a mutual interest while we worked together though. Personally, I think the only reason we didn't pursue things at the time is that both of us were in relationships then. Otherwise, who knows? We only worked together for a short period of time anyways.

 

Besides, you have to remember, there is hot, and then there is office hot. She might look really hot at work when the only other thing to look at is old Bertha from accounting, the one with the faint moustache thing going on. But if you saw her at a club, when there is eye candy all around, would she still look so hot?

Well, here's a woman's perspective: I've just begun talking to a man that I've been really interested in for months, and I feel like any day now, he's going to ask me out.

 

But do I really want him to? I've only heard horror stories about people who date others in thier jobs, and it scares me. What if he's hot now, but it turns out he's a total dud later? I'd have to see him EVERY DANG DAY.

 

But then again, I'm so interested in seeing him - or at least making out once or twice Honestly, if he asked me out, I'd go. I'd probably be that dummy and learn my lesson the hard way. But who knows?
