max3732
There are a few people running in my state that I vastly support over their opponents. Plus I would love to find someone on the same side as me politically. I've heard several times that campaigns are a great place to meet women, but how would you do it? All I see on their campaign website is making phone calls. What kind of work would be good for a single guy closing in on 40 with limited time?
carhill
Walk into their local campaign office and ask.
d0nnivain
Show up & ask the campaign what it needs. They have phone banks, neighborhood canvasses, candidate meet & greets, & other group activities When you get assigned to those, show up & introduce yourself. Say "I'm new" People love to help newbies. Another way is to be a donor & go to the fundraisers & cocktail parties.
Malin889
I volunteered for a governor's campaign years ago... I went into the Democratic headquarters, started volunteering for them, then from then volunteered for the governor as well. They are ALWAYS looking for volunteers and it's a great way to meet people. Go for it!
