snowcones
I've been watching a movie that tells a story of forbidden love. It's a story where the two lovers are forbidden from being together due to family conflict and tradition. It seems like this type of love, the kind where you are forbidden from being together, feels stronger than normal. The feelings are that much more intense. I guess the languishing and the longing for an extended period of time makes it feel so much more intense. I felt this once when I was 18 years old. There was a guy who when we first laid eyes on each other we felt electricity. My heart fluttered and it was immediate and intense and I felt it from him too. Except his best friend liked me and he had told everyone even his family that he liked me, so I had to hide those feelings. I didn't like his best friend though. I liked intense guy, and I could feel that he liked me too. We knew it just by looking at each other, but we had to hold back on our feelings. We lasted for a few weeks of doing this until we confessed to each other that we liked each other and we got together and became a couple. I don't even know what happened to his friend, I never heard much about him after that. Has anyone else experienced forbidden love before and how it feels so much more intense?
