Ex gf dumped me but still messages me and smiles when she sees me?

Recommended Posts

Hey I want to make this short as possible so you guys dont have to read my whole essay...

So this girl messaged me 3 months ago and we were talking for over a month on snapchat as I was on a holiday so when I flew back we met for 2 weeks and seen each other literally everyday, shes the first girl I proper loved and did anything with from kissing to sex... So she dumped me for no reason and the apparent reason was.. ''We didn't talk for 2 days and the vibe kinda died'' So she dumped me and I said ok... and never message her so 2 weeks later she messaged me and I was being nice so I was messaging back friendly it was all ok and they she said she wants us to be friends and I said ok 2 days later I said I dont want to be friends it would be best if we didnt talk to each other and just move on and she said... ''I dont want to lose you as a friend''.

So I said ok and then agreed to it then next day I told her again I dont want to be friends and lets move on so she agreed then we didnt talk for a few days and then she messaged me on messanger asking how my motorcycle exam went I said It went great and how did yours? she said she passed and I congratulated her and she said shes proud of me and that was it..

Then few days later I went town and saw her at college she was walking out by herself she had a break she looked at me and I looked at her but we didnt make eye contact she was just smiling and didnt talk to me so later that day she was going back to college again and I was talking to my mates and she walked again smiling and walked back to college.

that was yesterday now today she commented on my instagram post and we had a small little conversation we dont really talk at all she just pops up to me all the time I never pop up to her even tho I want her back so bad I miss her still.. But I dont know if she feels the same cant tell its only been a month since she broke up with me and she still pops up to me... and now i just would like to know if she is still into me or not? because its weird that she dumped me and then still pops up to me even tho I told her I dont want to be friends and it would be best if we didnt talk so what now??

does she still want me? can we make things work?

Thanks!!

You are stringing yourself along here.

Move on like she did

But how do you guys know she moved on? She still pops up to me for no reason I dont even message her at all and she still does for whatever reason I dont think thats just being nice.. Like I'm not trying to get my hopes up but I'm just saying if she really moved on she wouldnt bother messaging me or even asking to be friends...

That is not true. Women can often make friends of exes, especially if they did the dumping. She never wants to date you again but she likes your company and if you let her she will start discussing her dates and new bfs as you are her new "bestie".

Having an ex as a friend is win win. You know her very well and probably still love her and you will go the extra mile for her so that is good and a great ego trip too.

Women tend to like "orbiters", guys who hang around them, but who they would never date.

Also some women just like everything to be friendly and nice, no grudges, no hassle after the relationship is over, so they do their best to cultivate a pleasant situation with the ex, it makes for a happier life.

Yep....Its also a ploy to rid themselves of the guilt of dropping the guy on his head...She figures if he'll accept her friendship, then she wont be seen as the "bad guy" here...
