maria001
People sometimes confuse thirst with hunger. I actually want to know how water work for weight loss?
d0nnivain
You may be better served if you post this on a forum devoted to fitness & weight loss but Sometimes you think you are hungry when you are really just thirsty. If you drink 8 oz of water you feel full & then don't consume extra calories. Water also helps your digestion, your skin, & weight loss because it fills you up without extra calories like juice or soda. You don't want to be drinking your calories other than perhaps a smoothie. snowboy91
Agreed - water can fill you up and make you less likely to eat extra calories. It also replaces other things you might drink that do have calories. If you're mildly dehydrated for significant periods of time, it can make you feel tired and less likely to exercise - therefore not good for weight loss.
