lanastclaire
A long while ago me & Callum openly like eachother. We lost connected but I recently found his account and reached out. He was surprised but happy that at did. Said he couldn't stop smiling. Callum told me he would text as soon as he could, and he did. We planned to play a video game together. I get online and see his friend is playing with us, Vincent. Vincent said, "so this is the girl you were telling me about." Callum blushingly said yes and tried to shut him up. At the moment I was fasting for health reasons and was very sick and dizzy. I was pretty quite with them, since I felt ill and his friend was there. Vincent commented about me not talking, but Callum stopped him from saying anything else. I told them I was feeling too sick to play, and texted Callum why I left. He said he was there for me if I need anyone; very kind about it. 3 days ago I texted Callum asking if he wanted to play some games again. He said yes after he ate, if I was still awake. I haven't heard anything from him. Callum added a selfie to his snapchat story, and I texted him how different he looked (in a good way). He said "thank you :)" but nothing else. I'm very confused about what's happening. I thought things were going well, but all of a sudden Callum doesn't seem interested. Is there something obvious I did wrong? Should I text him something else (asking him how hes doing, if he wants to play something sometime, etc) or wait for him to text me? I'm very lost..
Garcon1986
Hi there, welcome to LS, I would first recommend you don't list people's real names on this forum for online safety reasons. It seems like these blokes are just not mature enough to be showing their interest yet, or just simply to shy to say they really like you. In order for us to give you a real answer, we need to know: 1. how old is everybody? 2. is everybody employed? university students? 3. what's the story of you knowing these two lads? Did you just meet? Are you hoping to get a boyfriend? Do you know each other since primary school days? 4. What is everybody's level of relationship experience?
Author lanastclaire
Hello, all names are fake! We're university students (freshman) who meet in primary school. Both working. I'm interested in a serious relationship even though I'm young. However, I can't answer for 'Callum'
Garcon1986
It's very possible he wasn't thinking about a relationship at the time. Men are much more simple than women think they are - work, sex, exercise, food, and we are satisfied. Women add lots of layers of emotional complexity that college students are usually confused about. The most likely answer here is that he wasn't thinking about dating at the time. The easiest way to go about this is to drop plenty of hints (we men aren't good at taking hints either, we wish that girls would ask us out). Drop hints to the guy you like. If after a continuous string of hints you get nothing, I would move on to a more mature lad. Easy as that. Make your intentions known early so you don't get strung along for a friends with benefits either; as soon as you make it known you are available you are at risk of that. Since you don't want that make it known early.
