Lazer77 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Why do you think my ex asks me to the prom 8 months in advance, and then constantly flirts with me, kissing me and so forth. But then claims she doesnt like me, yet she asked me to the prom 8 months in advance. For example today she did nothing but came over and i just shared a little bit of my lunch, then she talked about the prom for 3 minutes, then i didnt see her the rest of the day. I would assume that she isnt using me for the prom, because when we used to go out i accused her of using me, and she got really offended, so i highly doubt that. Any ideas?

You are her "backup date", LAZER77....over the next 6 or 7 months she'll actively be looking for a date for the prom besides you and if she cannot get one or doesn't find a dude she likes enough then you will be her escort. Its simple to see....If I were you I'd start looking for a backup date of your own cause come March she may tell you she's going with someone else. Women are funny like that

She would rather chew off her own arm than to look you in the eye and tell you the absolute truth. You'll have to go with your gut here. If you want to go to the prom with her, then you may want to consider dropping the 'motivation for going' issue for now lest you aggravate the matter. There's no telling where this is going to go given that its so early. Just keep your eyes open, I guess and pay attention to your gut feelings.
