One Ethnicity more attracted to you than another?

I'm curious how many people here find that one race in particular finds them more attractive than others? I'm a white male and to be honest I have the least success with my own race! Ever since I was in high school I've noticed African-American girls were more attracted to me than any race by far, like it's not even close. Personally, I don't have a preference when it comes to dating so it's not necessarily a good or bad thing, I just find it interesting. I'm not sure why I seem to attract that race more than others (Asian,Hispanic and White) but it just seems to be the case.

 

Anybody else have a similar situation in which you seem to draw the attention of a certain race/ethnicity?

I think I tend to attract one ethnicity...Latino men. But likely it's because it is one I find very, very attractive. I likely behave more flirty with them. Not gonna lie. Lol

I would check out this OKCupid webpage - they actually did a study on who dates who. Asian men sadly have to make 200 000$ more dollars than the equivalent white man to attract a Caucasian female. There are a couple of other patterns there.

Hmm, that's interesting because it's the exact opposite for me. If I had to pick one race I like more than any other, it's probably Asian. I have the most trouble getting them interested in me though. I feel like most Asian women don't even look my way. I've dated a couple, but they just seem to be put off by me for the most part.

Rarely do I get asian/indian men. I've been told that I have a look that could appeal to many races in general. I think it's true.

i'm asian and interestingly, while i attract all kinds of ethnicities, asian men - specifically east/southeast asian men, don't really pay much attention to me. when i was 8, a chinese-american classmate had a crush on me but i don't think that really counts, haha.

The poster is talking about Asian men specifically. There is a narrative that basically says that Asian men are at the bottom of the desirability scale. That same narrative said that Asian women are much further up on the scale.

While I'm not sure I can generalise on ethnicity so much, I can say that I'm from Northern Europe and people here are generally not very attracted to me. People from Southern Europe or South America, Middle East and Africa seem to get attracted to me to a much higher degree. I think I've only known of 1 Asian man, now maybe 2, who was interested.

 

I figured it was more of a beauty standard thing, whereby I don't fit the one most popular in Northern Europe or Asia.. but I also do have a personal preference for men with darker features so that could play into it as well.
