max3732
For the new year I thought I'd try some new online services, but they require a username and am struggling to come up with one. I searched online and a lot of suggestions are to put a hobby or interest in the name, but my fear is that it will turn off people who aren't into that. So if I put TennisGuy, SkiingMan, FunPhotographer, DisneyFan or something like that wouldn't it turn off potential matches? Something else I've decided after giving it a lot of thought and going back and forth is I'd prefer to date within my own political side as I'm very passionate about certain issues. What about if I put an issue I care about in my name or would that turn off people who don't like talking about politics on a 1st date? Or would I be better off with something about my personality or the kind of woman I'm trying to find? I'm just really at a loss here.
Art_Critic
Don't use "hanging_low_69" or anything with with a sexual vibe to it... women will run from that.. You could just use a quick id that describes you.. "Laughs a lot", "Luvs to Laugh" or something like that rather than an interest/hobby.. let your profile describe your interests Don't spend too much time on it.. stay away from sexual and too macho/drinking names and all should be good.. Happy Lemming
Why not use something with "MAX" in it like your username here, some examples" Max Velocity Max Strength Max Displacement Max Java Max Kinetic Energy Just my two cents... Best of Luck.
Gretchen12
Max3732 works. It's all about having a good photo.
Art_Critic
Max3732 works. It's all about having a good photo. The issue is that max3732 when put in google will bring any girl googling it right to this thread and his posts here as well as his profile... Something to always think about....

Something to always think about.... I certainly don't want that. There was one free site I was going to sign up for and I realized I actually made a profile there over 5 years ago and forgot about it. My profile name has the word "Kind" in it. Does that sound ok? Sarah_Smiles
I like to pick a username that is personal, means something to me ( I will either include my name, or a song, or place I enjoy in it) Like the username I have on here is a combination of my name and I song I like by Panic At The Disco and a happy reminder of my dad because he used to sing Sara Smile to me by Hall and Oates and I used to say but it spells the name wrong, lol and that my song ( I have as my username spells it right, lol) So using this username makes me fondly think of my dad who has since passed. I think even for OLD it is good to pick something that is meaningful to you and represents you.
LuckyM
I used so many names when I was doing this and, none of them worked well. Any name you choose will attract some ladies, some will be neutral toward it and others will ignore it. Disney is a safe bet. It's family friendly. Tennis guy is good only if you want a tennis partner. Same with skier--- Photographer is better. laughs a lot is good. The wider appeal the better. Don't choose a name like Pick Me. Tonk
I make up usernames depending on what I'm interested in at the time. For example, if you're into diving you could be "cursed_snorkel" or similar.
SevenCity
I certainly don't want that. There was one free site I was going to sign up for and I realized I actually made a profile there over 5 years ago and forgot about it. My profile name has the word "Kind" in it. Does that sound ok? I wouldn't use "kind". Despite what women may say, they are not looking for "kind". They want adventure, excitement, someone to get them aroused. That said, don't be overt by using sexual innuendos. I've read a few articles saying the names are important, but pictures are far more crucial.
JuneL
I think TennisGuy, SkiingMan and FunPhotographer are all fine, but I would personally stay away from DisneyFan, as it screams immaturity/peter pan. I also second another poster’s opinion about not using the word “kind”. I’m always doubtful about those who self-proclaim themselves to be such a kind person! For the new year I thought I'd try some new online services, but they require a username and am struggling to come up with one. chillii
Funny. l was only on one briefly but joining l'm totally stuck with a name. So l just put in this stupid thing just popped into my head. Ha, everyone loved it , a few even messaged me just to tell me or ask it's meaning , met anyone she'd talk about it. Cracked me up it meant absolutely nothing , no hidden anything but admittedly it somehow did just accidentally sound pretty cool and def' helped.

Any suggestions on something you think would sound cool and would help get women to contact you? One of the sites lets you browse and most of the women seem to have random names or things with a hobby or interest in it. Definitely the picture is more important, but I think a good username would be a big help too!

"French Toast-32" or "Pancakes-37"; it should be something that immediately makes someone smile...

Definitely the picture is more important, but I think a good username would be a big help too! Yep l shyt you not l was amazed. l never would have thought but since then , hell yeah if you can come up with something catchy it really helps. But later it made sense because l'm an ex sign writer and the key to a great sign that'll get read is the first word and then first line. lt should be designed on the principle of a 1 second glance is all the time you have to catch a passer byes attention enough for then to mentally decide whether to bother reading the rest of the sign. So a catchy user names not as dumb as it sounds.
edgygirl
I prefer a name that describes my personality or way of seeing the world, like my name here. It will attract people like myself - unconventional, open minded (I think I am), experimental or avant-garde. But if Tennis and the other things you mentioned define you as a person... go for it.
